According to reports, the two men were working on constructing a chicken processing plant and were using some kind of lift in order to work at height. For unknown reasons, the two men fell approximately 40 feet from the lift basket. One of the men had to be rescued by emergency crews from a high position because he became trapped after falling.
The worker who was trapped was taken to a medical center by helicopter after being rescued. He was reported as being 26 years old and was considered to be in serious condition at the time of the report. The other worker was reported as being 56 years old, and he suffered fatal injuries as a result of the fall.
