North Carolina EMS worker injured on the job in ambulance crash

The ambulance left the road, struck a curb and continued traveling approximately 70 feet before hitting a concrete retaining wall. It was reported that the incident took place at 6:20 a.m.

The driver of the ambulance did not suffer any injuries in the incident. The other EMS worker was injured, but details on those injuries were not given in the report. It was mentioned that the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. No other vehicles or individuals were reported as being involved in the accident.
