Sex and Workers’ Compensation

Workers’ Comp is normally not very sexy, but two news stories came out this week involving sex and workers’ comp……..

In the first, a romp in the park led to Workers’ Comp fraud charges:

In the second, an appeals court in Australia upheld an award of workers’ comp benefits to a woman who was injured while having sex in a hotel room on a business trip.   Not sure that this would fly here in NC, but in Australia, it was compensable.
