The incident resulted in one of the workers suffering fatal injuries, and that person died at an area hospital. The other worker was also taken to the hospital, but reports stated that he or she was in stable condition. The cause of the accident was still under investigation at the time of the report, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration was also investigating.
The family of the individual killed in this North Carolina accident, as well as the surviving worker, may have cause to find out what their options may be regarding workers’ compensation.
