Man injured in construction accident after fall off scaffold

Construction projects are always taking place in North Carolina and around the country. Because of these ongoing projects, there is always a chance that a construction accident could take place that leaves a person seriously injured. Rescue workers came to the scene and had to work to get the man out of the building. Due to the construction, there was no stairwell or elevator available to easily get him out. Fortunately, they were able to get to him, and he was taken to an area hospital. It was noted that he suffered a broken leg and other injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
